Do you only work on German cars?
No. We work on all makes and models. German cars are our specialty: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche.
How does a mobile mechanic work?
Tell us what the car is doing and where it's parked. We come to it with the tools and the scan equipment and do the work there: your driveway, your office lot or the roadside. No drop-off, no waiting room.
What areas do you cover?
Tampa, including Citrus Park, Westchase, Carrollwood and Town 'n' Country, plus New Tampa, Temple Terrace, Brandon, Riverview, Wesley Chapel, Lutz and Land O' Lakes.
What are your hours?
9am to 9pm, seven days a week.
Do you charge a travel fee?
No. There's no travel fee anywhere in our service area.
How much is a diagnostic?
$125, and it goes toward your repair if you have us do the work.
Are your prices labor only?
Yes. The repair prices we publish are labor. Parts are quoted for your exact car before any work starts, and nothing changes without a call.
Do you have a shop?
Yes, for the bigger jobs that need a lift or more than a day. Most work happens at your car. If a job needs the shop, we'll tell you before we start and sort out how the car gets there.
Do you register new batteries?
Yes, on every car that needs it, as part of the battery job.
Will using you affect my warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer or dealer can't deny warranty coverage just because maintenance or repairs were done somewhere other than the dealer. Keep your receipts. Repairs that the warranty itself pays for still go through the dealer.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. When we supply the parts, you get a warranty on the parts and the labor, and some parts are covered for life. If you supply your own parts, the warranty stays with whoever sold them to you.
Do you do pre-purchase inspections?
Yes, on any make. $150 when you book online, $175 otherwise. About 45 minutes, with a written report and photos.
Do I need to be there while you work?
Not for the whole job. Plenty of people hand over the keys and carry on with their day. We'll call before anything changes the price.
Can you work in an apartment or office parking lot?
Yes. A level space with room around the car is all we need. Tell us the lot and the space number when you book.
Do you do roadside work?
Yes, within our hours, as long as the spot is safe to work in. A parking lot or a wide shoulder is fine. A narrow shoulder with traffic going past isn't.
Is there anything you don't do?
Bodywork and paint, and deep electrical work such as tracing wiring faults or hunting down a battery drain. If your job is one of those, we'll tell you up front.
