Choose your make
German cars are the specialty
Pick your make for the common faults we see and the steps each one needs. Not German? Same care, same prices.
Where German cars are different
The steps that get skipped
Plenty of jobs on a BMW or an Audi look like the same job on any other car, until the car's computer gets involved. These are the steps we never skip.
Battery registration
On many BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes and Porsche models, a new battery has to be registered to the car. Skip it and the car keeps charging the new battery like the old one. It can over- or undercharge it, and start-stop may stop working.
Parking brake service mode
Rear pads on a car with an electronic parking brake can't just be pushed back. The calipers go into service mode first and get reset after. Forcing the piston back can damage the caliper.
Wear sensors and service resets
Brake wear sensors are single-use once they've triggered, and BMWs track brake wear in their service system. New sensor where it's needed, reminder reset, and the dash stops asking.
Every module, not just the engine
A basic code reader only sees the engine and emissions side. ABS, airbag, parking brake and battery faults live in their own modules. We scan all of them.

Tell us what it's doing
Book online, send a quote request or call. Describe the light, the noise or the dash message, and tell us where the car is parked.
We come to the car
Driveway, office lot, apartment space or roadside. We bring the scan tool and the tools, and you get a firm price before any work starts.
Fixed, registered, reset
The repair, plus whatever registration, service mode or reset the car needs. Old parts shown to you, and a warranty when we supply the parts.
Not sure what's wrong?
Start with the symptom
You don't need to know the part. Tell us what the car is doing, and these guides explain what it usually means.
- 01
Many warning lights at once
A dash lit up like a tree usually means low voltage, not five broken systems.
- 02
Brake pad warning light
What the brake pad light means on a German car, and why it can stay on after new pads.
- 03
EPC light or drivetrain malfunction
Reduced power on a VW, Audi or BMW. What the warning means and whether to keep driving.
- 04
Parking brake warning
Electronic parking brake fault? What usually causes it, and why rear pads are part of the story.
Mobile and shop
Mobile first. A shop for the big jobs.
Most repairs don't need a building. Diagnostics, batteries, brakes, alternators, starters and inspections all happen where the car is parked, while you get on with your day.
Some jobs need a lift, or more than a day on the car. Those go to our shop, and we'll tell you which kind of job yours is before we start, not halfway through.

Common questions
Before you book
Do you only work on German cars?
No. We work on all makes and models. German cars are our specialty: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche.
How much is a diagnostic?
$125, and it goes toward your repair if you have us do the work.
Are your prices labor only?
Yes. The repair prices we publish are labor. Parts are quoted for your exact car before any work starts, and nothing changes without a call.
Do you charge a travel fee?
No. There's no travel fee anywhere in our service area.
Do you have a shop?
Yes, for the bigger jobs that need a lift or more than a day. Most work happens at your car. If a job needs the shop, we'll tell you before we start and sort out how the car gets there.
Will using you affect my warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer or dealer can't deny warranty coverage just because maintenance or repairs were done somewhere other than the dealer. Keep your receipts. Repairs that the warranty itself pays for still go through the dealer.
