What we see on Porsche cars
A battery that goes flat while parked
A Porsche that sits can drain its battery in a matter of weeks. Porsche's own advice is a battery maintainer if the car will sit unused for more than about ten days. If yours is going flat faster than that, we test the battery and the charging system first.
Battery registration
New batteries on Porsches are registered to the car, as on the other German makes. It's part of every battery job we do.
Rear brakes and the parking brake
Most newer Porsches use an electronic parking brake, so the rear calipers go into service mode before the pads come out, and are reset after.
Buying a used Porsche?
It's the car you most want inspected first. We scan every module, look at the known weak points, and send you a written report with photos.
What we do on a Porsche at your location
- Battery testing and registration. Tested before anything is replaced, and registered to the car after.
- Brakes with sensors and service mode. Wear sensors checked, parking brake in service mode for the rear pads.
- Full-system diagnostics. Every module scanned and the fault tested before any part is ordered.
- Pre-purchase inspections. About 45 minutes and a written report with photos, before you buy.

911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Macan and Panamera. Any model, at the same published prices.
Questions
Porsche owners ask
My Porsche only gets driven at weekends. Will the battery keep going flat?
It can. A maintainer is the best fix for a car that sits. If it's going flat within a few days, the battery or the charging system needs testing, and we can do that at your place.
Do you work on the 911?
Yes, for the work we do at the car. If a job needs a lift, it goes to our shop, and we'll tell you before anything starts.
Will using you affect my Porsche warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer or dealer can't deny warranty coverage just because maintenance or repairs were done somewhere other than the dealer. Keep your receipts. Repairs that the warranty itself pays for still go through the dealer.
