A Mercedes tells you a lot, if you can read it
Modern Mercedes-Benz models report through dozens of modules and plain-language dash messages. The message tells you which system is unhappy. The scan tells you why.
We read both at your house or your office, and you get the answer and the price before any work starts.
What we see on Mercedes-Benz cars
"Auxiliary battery malfunction"
Common on the C-Class (W205), E-Class (W213), S-Class (W222), GLC (X253) and GLE (W167). The auxiliary battery is a small backup that keeps systems like PRE-SAFE, ESP and the emergency call system powered. It's often the battery itself, but we test what charges it before replacing anything.
Rear brakes and the electric parking brake
Most 2015 and newer Mercedes-Benz models have an electric parking brake. The rear calipers have to be moved into their service position before the pads come out, and reset afterwards.
Several warnings at once
When the main battery is weak, a Mercedes can show ESP, brake and other warnings together. Voltage is the first thing we check, before anyone starts replacing parts.
Battery registration
Many newer Mercedes-Benz models need a new battery registered to the car. We do it as part of every battery job.
What we do on a Mercedes at your location
- Full-system diagnostics. Every module scanned, and the dash message explained in plain English.
- Main and auxiliary batteries. Tested first, replaced, and registered where the car needs it.
- Brakes with the electric parking brake. Service position before the rear pads come out, reset and tested after.
- Alternators and starters. Charging and starting systems tested before any part is replaced.

Questions
Mercedes-Benz owners ask
What does "Auxiliary battery malfunction" mean?
The small backup battery, or the parts that charge it, has failed a check. It backs up safety systems, so it's worth sorting promptly. Once it's tested, it's often a straightforward battery job.
Can you do rear brakes on a newer Mercedes?
Yes. We move the electric parking brake into its service position before the pads come out, and reset it afterwards.
My Mercedes is showing a message I don't recognize. Can you help?
Yes. Send a photo of the message with a quote request, or read it to us on the phone, and we'll tell you what it usually means and what the next step is.
Will using you affect my Mercedes warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer or dealer can't deny warranty coverage just because maintenance or repairs were done somewhere other than the dealer. Keep your receipts. Repairs that the warranty itself pays for still go through the dealer.
